A little baby boy!
It's true! Newborns are the reason that when I started my business I knew that I had to offer in-home photography.
I have 3 boys myself and when each of them was born, I arranged to have their photos taken in a studio. I still love and adore my babies' newborn photos to this very day!
But the drive there is something that will always be in my mind!
I remember we crawled all the way there.
I remember the one near miss we had!
I remember having to try to entertain a toddler while the new baby was being photographed.
I remember the sweltering heat to keep bubs warm and my postpartum body wanting to pass out.
I remember the big bag I had to carry along to make sure we had everything we needed and still nearly not having brought enough EBM and dropping the kiddo's dummy on the floor!
In-home sessions are relaxed.
You have the time and space for snacks and breaks.
I bring along a compact lighting kit, so there's no need to worry if your home is dark.
All you need to do is ensure there are 2-3 tidy spaces for us to have our photographs done in. I am not there to judge your home. Believe me, I know life with a newborn is chaotic! Who has time to clean??
Toddlers/children have their own toys and space to play in so they can be comfortable and entertained while we are busy with the baby.
