This shoot took place in this little baby's first week of life.

Did you know, it's best to have your newborn photography session done, ideally, within their first 10 days of life?

After this point, babies start to be awake a lot more, they can start to get a bit more fussy and might even start to cluster feed.

As a photographer, I can still work around all this, which is why I allow up to 2 hours for our sessions. However, we might get more awake photos, perhaps some feeding photos and a more documentary style rather than getting to play with a sleepy baby and some outfit changes.

If you really want those sleepy vibes and fresh feels for your newborn photography session, be sure to get your session booked before your little one turns 10 days old.
